Vandana Saree is a household name in cotton sarees and suits in India and has perfected the art and science of designing, manufacturing and merchandising an exquisite range of cotton textile products, from fabric to style.
In the year 1947 Shri Govind Ram ji Lohia ventured into the textile business, opening a small shop at 180, M.G. Road, Kolkata, under the name of Govind Ram Narayan Prasad. The business continued its expansion under his successors Shri Narayan Prasad ji, Shri Ram Kumar ji & Late Kishan Kumar ji wherein manufacturing units were set up in Kolkata (West Bengal) and Jetpur (Rajkot, Gujarat).
The business was later modelled into a corporate structure with the incorporation of N.R. Design Centre Pvt. Ltd. in the year 1992. Currently, under the leadership of Shri Prabhu Lohia and Shri Gyanesh Lohia the company has become a leading manufacturer of cotton sarees in India providing high-quality cotton sarees and suits to millions of satisfying customers across the country.
